About the Phinney Ridge Community Council

by admin last modified 2008-05-25 09:01

Representing the thriving north Seattle district of Phinney Ridge

The PRCC is a volunteer, not for profit organization which tracks issues such as public safety, transportation and transit, land use and zoning, city budget priorities, capital improvements, parks and open space use, and other civic issues. The PRCC maintains regular communication with Seattle city government elected officials and departments and with other community councils and civic organizations in the Northwest District of Seattle.

Where is Phinney?

The City Department of Neighborhoods defines the boundaries of Phinney Ridge as Aurora to 8th N.W. and 46th Street to North 75th St. Phinney Ridge shares a neighborhood plan with the Greenwood community.

Meetings

The PRCC has a standing meeting on the first Tuesday of every month (except when that date falls on a holiday or general election, and in August, when it conflicts with Block Parties) at 7:30 p.m. at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N.

Send inquiries about PRCC to Irene Wall, president, at iwall@serv.net.
