PRCC Sets 2008 Elections

The PRCC will hold its annual membership meeting and Board of Directors election on June 3

The Phinney Ridge Community Council (PRCC) will hold its annual membership meeting and Board of Directors election on Tuesday, June 3rd. Eight persons have been nominated for two-year board positions. The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N.

Community members unable to attend the meeting on Tuesday evening may request an absentee ballot by sending email to iwall@serv.net or leaving voice mail at 206 784-8731. All ballots must be returned by Tuesday, June 3rd and may be dropped off at the Phinney Center.

The goals of the PRCC are to identify and act on issues that affect the Phinney Ridge community; foster the preservation, beautification, and improvement of the Phinney Ridge neighborhood; encourage participation of interested persons in these efforts; and serve as a liaison to the Northwest District Council, the City of Seattle and other agencies in matters concerning the welfare of Phinney Ridge.

The nominating committee has prepared the following slate of candidates. Position 9 remains without a candidate. The nominating committee welcomes a volunteer -resident (renter or homeowner) or business owner in Phinney Ridge to consider joining the Board. Please submit nominee's names and contact information to Paul Andrews.
