Building Sustainable Lives for People and the Planet

by Paul Andrews last modified December 29 03:25 AM

Welcome! You've reached the Website for the Phinney Ecovillage Project in North Seattle's Phinney Ridge Community

Our goal: Creating Neighborhood Sustainability and Community

Normally ecovillages are co-housing or communal in nature. We're trying to emulate their elements in a typical metropolitan neighborhood, where people may have moved for location or lifestyle reasons rather than in pursuit of an intentional community.

We're looking to create:

  • Greener lifestyles
  • Healthier lifestyles
  • More vital inner lives
  • A stronger community life

Come on out to one of our events, or email Cecile Andrews at cecile@simplicitycircles.com to be placed on the Phinney Ecovillage mailing list. We're always coming up with getogethers and workshops on a variety of Ecovillage topics, drawing on expertise in the Phinney neighborhood itself.
